An e-visa can be obtained before departure via https://www.laoevisa.gov.la/. Passengers must present a printed confirmation of their e-visa upon arrival.
Approved e-visas are valid for up to 2 years from the date of authorisation.
Passengers arriving at Luang Prabang (LPQ), Pakse (PKZ), or Vientiane (VTE) are strongly advised to complete a Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF). This form should be submitted within 3 days before arrival and is available at https://www.immigration.gov.la. Upon successful submission, a QR code will be generated and must be presented upon arrival.
