Egypt will raise its single-entry visa fee to $33 from January 1, 2027, with digital visa-on-arrival costing $39.
A circular from the Egyptian Travel Agents Association confirms an upcoming increase to Egypt's single-entry visa fee, following a Cabinet decision.
Effective January 1, 2027, the standard fee will rise by $3, from $30 to $33.
For travellers using the digital visa-on-arrival system at Cairo International Airport, the total cost will increase to $39. This includes the $33 visa fee plus an additional $6 for service and issuance, though the digital system is currently a pilot. The official e-Visa portal for pre-departure applications has not yet published updated fees, meaning future pricing for those visas remains unconfirmed.
