Haiti Introduces Mandatory Digital Arrival and Departure Form for All Travellers

Haiti now requires all travellers to complete an iKat digital arrival and departure form for both entry and exit.

From 1 October 2026, all individuals entering or leaving Haiti must complete the iKat electronic form. This digital system centralises required immigration, health, and customs information, aiming to streamline border control processes. The form became officially mandatory after a period of gradual expansion.

The iKat form applies to both Haitian and foreign nationals, including children, and is compulsory for those travelling by air, land, or sea. Travellers must submit the form via the official online portal within three calendar days before their scheduled travel date.

Upon completion, a QR code is issued which must be retained and presented during health and customs checks for both arrival and departure procedures. This system replaces previous paper forms and consolidates data for government agencies.
