India Relaunches Mandatory Air Suvidha 2.0 Health Declaration Portal

India has relaunched Air Suvidha 2.0, a mandatory online health declaration for all international arrivals, effective July 1, 2026.

The new Air Suvidha 2.0 portal, launched by India's Ministry of Civil Aviation, requires international passengers to submit a digital Self Declaration Form (SDF) before immigration. This mandatory online health declaration aims to strengthen health surveillance at points of entry, reintroduced in response to the Ebola/Bundibugyo outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. Travellers must complete the SDF online up to 24 hours prior to arrival, providing recent travel history, risk exposure, and symptom details. Passengers must carry the acknowledgement for presentation to authorities upon arrival. This health declaration is distinct from the e-Arrival Card and does not replace standard visa requirements for India.
