Kenyan Court Suspends Mandatory Health Insurance for Visitors
A Kenyan court has suspended the rollout of a mandatory health insurance requirement for foreign visitors, which had been tied to the country's electronic travel authorisation.
Kenya requires most foreign visitors to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation before arrival, applied for through etakenya.go.ke.
A planned mandatory health insurance requirement, to be collected alongside that authorisation, has been suspended by court order pending further proceedings. The requirement had been due to take effect for arriving visitors.
