Philippines extends visa-free entry for Taiwan passport holders
The Philippines extends 14-day visa-free entry for Taiwan passport holders until June 30, 2027.
This programme, initially implemented on July 1, 2025, was set to conclude on June 30, 2026. The extension applies specifically to Taiwan passport holders visiting the Philippines for tourism or short-term purposes. Individuals intending to remain in the Philippines for more than 14 days are still required to secure a visa prior to entry. This decision reflects the Philippine government's commitment to reciprocity, as Taiwan also grants Philippine citizens 14-day visa-free access until July 31, 2026.
