Philippines Launches e-Visa for Micronesian Residents

Philippines launches e-Visa for temporary visits by residents of Micronesia, Guam, Palau, CNMI, and Marshall Islands.

The new Philippine electronic visa system took effect on 10 August 2026 across five Pacific jurisdictions. Residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Guam, Palau, the Marshall Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia can now apply online for temporary visit visas. Approved e-Visas are accessible digitally or in printed form and are no longer physically affixed to passports. Travellers must complete the e-Travel registration after their e-Visa is issued and within 72 hours of departure to avoid entry difficulties. This e-Visa is not convertible to other visa types nor can its period of stay be extended.
