Thailand Revises Visa Exemption and Visa-on-Arrival Rules
Thailand's Cabinet approved new visa exemption and Visa on Arrival rules, replacing the current 60-day framework.
The current 60-day visa exemption for 93 countries and territories will be withdrawn. Under the revised measures, 65 countries will be assigned a single entry option: either 30-day visa exemption, 15-day visa exemption, or Visa on Arrival. India shifts from Visa on Arrival to a 30-day visa exemption, while Mauritius and Seychelles gain 15-day visa-free entry. Nationals of Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Serbia will now be eligible for Visa on Arrival. These changes will take effect 15 days after official publication in the Royal Gazette, which is currently pending.
