UAE Extends Visa-on-Arrival to Six Nationalities Residing in Key Countries
UAE extends visa-on-arrival to citizens of six countries holding residence permits in specific nations.
The United Arab Emirates announced on 25 June 2026 that nationals of Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Kenya, and South Africa are now eligible for a visa-on-arrival. This applies to those holding a valid residence permit in the United States, European Union countries, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada. Travellers can choose a 14-day visa for AED 100, renewable once, or a 60-day visa for AED 250, which is non-renewable. Overstaying beyond the permitted duration incurs a penalty of AED 50 per day. Eligible family members can also obtain this visa.
